Pirate's Talisman Large Dichroic Fused Glass Pendant w Copper Wire Wrapping
This one-of-a-kind, large, handmade dichroic fused glass pendant that has a 13 mm round hole through the top of a tall triangular shaped glass cabochon. There is copper wire wrapping that forms a bail and a copper "tress" that extends on to the face of the pendant that is curled into a spiral! The colors and patterns of the dichroic glass cabochon are fascinating. There are streaks of gold-green rectangles that fall diagonally across the glass and a counterpoint of red streaks that go in the opposite direction. All of this amazing color and pattern are overlaid on a cobalt blue base.
The shine and shimmer of the gold-green pattern is like pirate's loot and will look absolutely fantastic against a neutral or rust colored sweater or top. Wear this on a long copper chain or black leather cord for a great effect. This is an eye catching, one-of-a-kind fashion accessory that you will enjoy wearing over and over with different outfits. This pendant will pair nicely with copper earrings. This listing is for the pendant only. FAQ Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA as part of their satellite mirrors. The exceptionally thin coatings are applied to glass in very controlled environments. Di-chroic means two colors and this glass reflects/transmits different colors depending on the angle of light. When it is worn with different colors, it appears to pick up and reflect some of those colors so it really enhances the total look. I call this the "mood" of the glass. This is a jewelry box favorite with many of my customers. I hope you enjoy wearing it!
