Hot Orange Tango Handmade Dichroic Fused Glass Dangle Earrings
Have a little fun with these hot orange and brilliant blue handmade dichroic glass earrings! These babies will rock your ears and heat up your wardrobe! Great for a night out with dancing, tango or an art opening! These brilliant metallic earrings will capture a lot of attention by sparkling and shifting color as only dichroic glass can do! The orange base will shift from a bright tangerine to a yellow-gold. There are cerulean blue half circles layered on to the bottom of the earrings that are delicately rimmed in red-violet and this will color shift to purple and cobalt blue! Layered down the center of the long rectangle base, are two dichroic glass rods that will create an interesting lens effect and color shift to a neon blue! There is a lot going on in these exciting earrings!
The long, narrow earrings measure 2 inches long from the top of the ear wires to the bottom of the glass. The widest point at the bottom of the glass is .5 inches. These are very dangly earrings and are quite flashy! The ear wires are sterling silver with tiny beads at the bend in the wire and delicate wire wrapping that adds energy to the look! #AF2143
FAQ Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA as part of their satellite mirrors. The exceptionally thin coatings are applied to glass in very controlled environments. Di-chroic means two colors and this glass reflects/transmits different colors depending on the angle of light. When it is worn with different colors, it appears to pick up and reflect some of those colors so it really enhances the total look. I call this the "mood" of the glass. This is a jewelry box favorite with many of my customers. I hope you enjoy wearing it!
