Dancing at Midnight Dichroic Fused Glass Dangle Drop Earrings Swarovsky Crystals Dark Blue
Dancing at Midnight describes these pretty dichroic fused glass dangle earrings perfectly! They will dance on your ears. The deep blues that sparkle and the brilliant flash of Swarovski crystals make this an exciting pair of dramatic little earrings! These little beauties were made in my studio in the mountains of West Virginia, where the stars and Milky Way create an open mouthed wonder at midnight.
Each pair of earrings I make are filled with inspiration from the natural beauty of my home. Please enjoy these dangling bits from the Appalachian mountains! This pair has small fully fused dichroic glass cabochons in a rounded triangular shape that reflect deep blue, black, silver blue and teal. There is a tiny hint of pink as well. They dangle from silver plated bails and have good quality sterling silver ear wires. There are tiny Swarovski crystals at the bend in the wires.
- .5 inches wide (7 mm) x 1.25 inches (30 mm) long, including the ear wires.

What is dichroic glass? Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA for it's satellite mirrors and it is applied in extremely thin layers under very controlled conditions. Di-chroic means two colors and this glass reflects and transmits different colors depending on the angle of light. When it is worn with different colors, it appears to pick up and reflect some of those colors so it really enhances the total look. I call this the "mood" of the glass.
The earrings will arrive by first class mail packaged in a pretty purple cotton filled box and tied with a ribbon!
