Copper Textured Iridescent Handmade Fused Dichroic Glass Earrings
These unique dichroic and iridescent glass handmade dangle earrings have a beautiful contrast of texture and color! The base layer is a rainbow iridescent glass. There are textured copper accented dichroic squares with hints of teal and blue at the tips of the earrings that give interest and sparkle.
The earrings dangle nicely from sterling silver jump rings that go through drilled holes in the glass. The sterling silver ear wires are embellished with small copper colored beads that repeat the color and shine of the dichroic glass accents.
Wear these pretty handmade earrings every day. They will look great with reds, browns, yellows and green. These earrings are for women of all hair colors and ages, from teens to 100+!

What is dichroic glass? Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA as part of their satellite mirror systems. The thin dichroic coating must be applied to the sheet glass in very controlled environments. Di-chroic means two colors and this glass reflects/transmits different colors depending on the angle of light. When it is worn with different colors, it appears to pick up and reflect some of those colors so it really enhances the total look. I call this the "mood" of the glass. Dichroic glass is very coveted by glass jewelry artisans.
